RuneScape: Dragonwilds

RuneScape: Dragonwilds

Coop & Difficulty
Hi, I was thinking to play this with a friend. Does playing in two make it too easy? Or are foes scaled up somehow? I am assuming we stick together while playing of course.

I've done this solo and with a friend. Everything is basically stun-locked while you beat on it and it makes it extremely easy and all encounters insignificant. I didn't notice a change in damage/health or anything like that. Its way faster with someone else due to doubling your damage output. There's actually not much content in the game right now. I can finish it and be in full end game gear in about 6 hours I've found. Have been testing multiple play styles and Wizard hat and chest and legs melee set outperforms everything. Weapon progression is stone club>bone dagger>(make a staff for range pull) > Iron sword. Game is easy except that its based on nuisance mobs, so having a friend makes it less time consuming doing insignificant-low-quality-game-time things.

That is for normal mobs. But vault bosses or a warband with 5 goblins with 2-3 of them are archers is another thing. Not very easy to beat solo ... these content is clearly designed for 2-3 people.
@Pentos: What? I know this is a BETA test and so forth but they actually forgot to scale difficulty?? That odd for sure. Anyhow this is the reason BETA tests are done, For Jagex this is win win bc we pay them to tell them what is wrong.

I have no issues fighting entire warbands on my own.
They can't even touch me.
The question i have is are you making good use of the tools available to you?
Have you checked weaknesses of enemies?
Have you tried using magic?
As all i need is a simple staff and set it to air.
Click right mouse button a few times and gone is the warband.
If this would have been designed for 2-3 people it should be a lot more difficult than it is.

@Galantir: Fighting internal objections I do start to realise that I have to force my burnout brain to 'learn new stuff' On the other hand I struggle to spend time on skills that are not fully implemented, it kind of sucs to have played early access for years bc I know the dev teams want info on what is operational code and not so much about place holders.

Edit: As i reread your points (with a burnout brain you have to do that all the time) I am still flumoxed about this no scaling of difficulty, however success ful or not that you are. Have you tested both solo and with friends??

I can understand that but you should also realize that if you don't you can't really judge anything which those skills touch since you do not have the full picture.
Also seeing how the skills work you're hardly missing anything when using those skills.
Yes you might miss a few extra attack points but at least the magic skill makes up for that atm and seeing my friends using bows that skills does either.
Both seem way better than any melee type of combat.
The rest would be spells or objects to craft which don't have anything to do with the ranged or magic combat in the first place.
The problem with judging it with only half the picture is that if enough people do this the devs might lower the difficulty.
But then once you start using those skills you find out combat has become trivial and isn't actually a challenge anymore.
