And Valheim is in EA for many YEARS, RS is in EA for some DAYS. So of course many things will come next months. And no, ships are not in the game at this early beta state.
I played Valheim a lot ... but to be fair, Valheim has also many "not so good things" ...
Remember the bad pixel graphics? Remember the "dungeons" - always the same small caves - one wooden door in front, one left, one right? Remember the part of a shipping simulator - by navigating your ship, without something to do, for an hour through an empty ocean? Remember the clunky combat - try to hit something with a bow ... and so on.
Valheim was good for the fresh ideas years ago. But now Valheims days are over. Even nostalgic feelings can't save Valheim. Just my 2 cents.
and procedural generation can only carry a game so far. i like the idea of a (handcrafted) world
