Kebab Poison Resistance not working?
So I made some "Delicious Kebabs" because they say they "Grant RESISTANCE to POISON effects" which I thought would come handy in BloodBlight Swamp.

I went there with the effect on, and it was on because I saw the icon with it's countdown in the bottom left. I still ended up getting poisoned there. Is there something i'm missing or is this a glitch?

I do see the Antipoison potions say "NEGATES and PROTECTS against POISION effects" so maybe there is a different here?

Same thing happened to me. Anti poison potion works like a charm though

It just makes it build up slower, and if you get "Chunked" by a large amount of poison (AKA hit by a druid spell) it reduces how much poison build up you get which will stop you from just being instantly poisoned in one attack.

Anti poison potions are what you want for exploring the blood blight swamp they cure poison and then make you immune to poison for a while. Took me about 10 to fully explore the swamp and the vault inside of the swamp.
Poison resistance does not mean immune.

In this game yes i guess but the definition of resistance is "the ability not to be affected by something" so not fully true.
That is absolutely not what it means. When you get the flu shot it gives you resistance to the flu. It does not make you immune.

Just gotta read better. I zoned out and thought the same thing when i first went into that area.

No it does mean that. Straight from Oxford's dictionary, but I get what you mean.

Resistance and immunity are two different status types, in real life and in games.

Resistance means you are more resilient to stuff that can damage you. You can still be damaged though, its just not that extreme as without resistance.

Immunity means you are not getting damaged in the first place.

But, it would be possible to increase the resistance to such an amount that you become immune, though thats not really something games do, thats why resistances are usually soft-capped at 75%.

lesser poison potions make you immune for like 10 mins, and they are much easier to craft
Having seen what goes into a kebab I can only imagine it grants poison resistance by training your immune system
