modern runescape looks more promising now.

this i know. if they can make a runescape game like this with unreal. they can turn the old runescape we all love in to a modern version as well. if you read my post you would have known what i meant

Not with UE5. it would not work with current hardware limitation and the game enbgine in its current state.

If players just want a graphical update (not UE5) sure but we saw what happened when they tryed to change things with rs3 and that did not go well

i agree new games on ue5 are unoptimized. like avowed. all gpus get 60fps or less. what the heck is that crap?? 60fps is not enough. i have seen benchmark videos on youtube showing this. pc gaming has hit sad times.

as for the graphic update to rs. they are great! even the new combat is great!

well the industry is piggy backing on Frame gen and aa scaling techniques to crutch for the optimisation so its a bit rough currently

This is not what I would call 'modern' Runescape. Its kind of RS lore wrapped around generic type game (Valheim iis in the same category)
