i know theres a roadmap and ik its early access.
Currently stage 4 is just way underwhelming and if no one says anything how are they supposed to change it? thats the whole point of early access and forums.
its about balancing the current last stage 4 since its way easier than the 3rd stage or nerfing the 3rd stage since getting bronze was insufferable and iron/paladin was a joke.
If you noticed each of the areas has a Tier for how to get the threads.
First Area = Coarse Fur (Kebbits and Rats) for Coarse Thread
Second Area = Flax for the better 1:1 Coarse Thread
Third Area = Soft Fur (Wolves) for Wool Thread
Fourth Area = Fleece (Sheep/Rams) for the better 1:1 Wool Thread
Fifth Area = Swamp Weed for 1:1 Swamp Thread
Also I've noticed a trend that a lot of people are going to Highlands for Copper/Tin.. Why. Just stay in Fracture Plains and do a Windstep on the mountain directly in front of the Entrance. There's a whole ton of Copper/Tin up there.
I didnt go to highlands for tin i went to fracture plains and most of the nodes i could find were copper. The wolves there killed me not in level 4 which is highlands.
It wasnt till after i got my full set that i realized about the mage ability to find ores (dont understand why it doesnt find stone as well but whatever) It was my mistake but yea finding tin was a nightmare and especially ones without monsters guarding it.
yea but its all fantastical types of wool so ordering it by difficulty to obtain / combat makes more logical sense to me.

fourth Area = Swamp Weed for 1:1 Swamp Thread (but honestly could be first area if the monsters an poison wasnt there)
fifth Area = Soft Fur (Wolves) for Wool Thread
