hmm odd yea same thing happened to me yesterday, but today when i finished the game. he did keep attacking me so im not sure if it a quest or if its just rng.
@ald2727 i recommend you doing the dungeons first that way you can get a load stone. get atleast two. Put one in base and then one wherever you want far away. that way when he attacks your basse all you have to do is teleport out.
Do you recall what you guys did to make this happen?
all I can remember is that on the first night, when we finished for the night it was because the dragon had come and started raining hell on our base, so we logged out during to avoid dealing with it. then the next login, all of yesterday, there was no dragon.
unfortunately, logging in today, the dragon is back-- so far as it killed me immediately in bed before I had loaded the base or was even allowed to move. so, it could be something related to logging out during the attack, but not sure exactly what caused it. but yes, all day there was no dragon OR raids at our base. surprisingly, goblins did still hunt when we went to t1 zone. maybe others experienced something similar
actually kinda thinking its the area, maybe the dragon and goblins just love to attack there specifically
I started getting tired of the dragon attacking me every other game day, then I figured out that you can completely negate it by standing on the second floor/roof of any ruin. The "acid rain" only affects you if you're on the ground. You may even be able to stand on the roof of your base too, pretty sure the acid rain/bombs don't damage player structures. I literally stand on the second floor where the wise old man is in Bramblewood and ignore it when it comes around. But it's fully annoying when you're out in the wild in the middle of fighting 4 dire wolves and the dragon shows up dropping acid bombs all over the place. I can see the idea behind it, but it's just really badly implemented.
There's lots of little issues I'm finding with the game that are worrying red flags. Getting stuck on terrain that you clearly should be to walk over. Not being able to pick stuff up/harvest stuff because your reticle is in exactly the right spot. Stuff spawning inside my base. Lots of other small issues. I realise this is still in early access, but I've played a lot of EA titles that never fix these small issues that really have a negative effect on game play overall.
