RuneScape: Dragonwilds

The dragon is kinda annoying
It visits me everyday too frequently it's a bit much and I can't even attack it back. I hear even after killing it, it still visits you to say hello. Please reduce the frequency of dragon visits, I don''t want to be forced to file a restraining order I still want to see it from time to time but not this much. Thanks

p.s. also there are only a few hairstyles in the game can you please put hairs on hats and hoods? I don't wanna be bald thanks

Sarushard the Wizard is now ready for that Dragon...

interestingly enough, the dragon attacks seem to stop entirely at some point, maybe at a certain quest stage? the first day playing, it was nonstop acid rain. however, playing yesterday, we didn't see the dragon a single time, not even flybys.

hmm odd yea same thing happened to me yesterday, but today when i finished the game. he did keep attacking me so im not sure if it a quest or if its just rng.

@ald2727 i recommend you doing the dungeons first that way you can get a load stone. get atleast two. Put one in base and then one wherever you want far away. that way when he attacks your basse all you have to do is teleport out.

What? How? Did you guys kill it? I heard it still spawns even after killing it. I also saw it on shroud's stream after they killed the dragon he died respawned at their base to turn in the quest then after that the dragon still came and vomited all over the place lol

Do you recall what you guys did to make this happen?

The acid rain should not be able to affect you through structures that you have already built

Thanks for the tip I just run outside and wait for him to finish his tantrums so I can continue building lol
Totally agree I'm so annoyed there's no way to deal with it. Its also pointless u take out the dragon and replace with random weather acid rain and the game doesn't change. I'm even getting annoyed every time I hear it roar its not only way to frequent I would be happy at this point if it was entirely gone.

all I can remember is that on the first night, when we finished for the night it was because the dragon had come and started raining hell on our base, so we logged out during to avoid dealing with it. then the next login, all of yesterday, there was no dragon.

unfortunately, logging in today, the dragon is back-- so far as it killed me immediately in bed before I had loaded the base or was even allowed to move. so, it could be something related to logging out during the attack, but not sure exactly what caused it. but yes, all day there was no dragon OR raids at our base. surprisingly, goblins did still hunt when we went to t1 zone. maybe others experienced something similar
earlier i had a dragon attack, later in the same day a big goblin horde raid, and then the next day another dragon attack soon after waking! x-x like jeeeeeeeeeeezzzz, please give some grace period

actually kinda thinking its the area, maybe the dragon and goblins just love to attack there specifically

I didn't know you could do that I'll try it later hopefully it works and the dragon can just chill for a while in it's lair

I feel like the majority of my time in the game is either making more food, running from dragon attacks, or fighting off warbands.

The food requirements are obnoxious. I spend at least 30-40% of my time farming and cooking food.

I started getting tired of the dragon attacking me every other game day, then I figured out that you can completely negate it by standing on the second floor/roof of any ruin. The "acid rain" only affects you if you're on the ground. You may even be able to stand on the roof of your base too, pretty sure the acid rain/bombs don't damage player structures. I literally stand on the second floor where the wise old man is in Bramblewood and ignore it when it comes around. But it's fully annoying when you're out in the wild in the middle of fighting 4 dire wolves and the dragon shows up dropping acid bombs all over the place. I can see the idea behind it, but it's just really badly implemented.

There's lots of little issues I'm finding with the game that are worrying red flags. Getting stuck on terrain that you clearly should be to walk over. Not being able to pick stuff up/harvest stuff because your reticle is in exactly the right spot. Stuff spawning inside my base. Lots of other small issues. I realise this is still in early access, but I've played a lot of EA titles that never fix these small issues that really have a negative effect on game play overall.

It will always attack eventually, though. I've completed everything in the game so far, including killing that dragon and it still will do the aerial poison attacks (usually at the worst times lol). Seems a bit silly that it continues to fly around even after you've killed it.
