QoL Feedback: Allow us to enchant weapons faster please.
While I appreciate the idea that this is really a spell you want to use in preparation for a big fight, and having a 90 second weapon buff that doesn't fall off if I stow/swap the weapon is really nice, the fact that it takes like 30 seconds, give or take, to buff the weapon, really runs counter-intuitively to it being a perk of a melee focused build.

While Runes are cheap, and the spells are highly spamable, the long cast time locks you out of valuable utility and damage if it expires mid-fight, and not only that, it's thematically at odds with both the general pacing of the game, and the fact that the block buff spell is nearly instantaneously casted in comparison.

Seems like a really obtuse way to punish melee builds for no reason, because we can't use the buffs reactively.

In fact, there has been times where I'll cast in to prepare for a bigger fight, and before the cast is even finished, some random chicken or something stupid wanders too close to me and interrupts the cast by pecking at my ankles.

I just don't understand why these spells aren't quicker so melee builds have access to the benefits from their skill tree under pressure. I'd like to be able to use my buffs on short notice, not only when I have a 2 - 5 business days advance notice of an incoming battle.

I imagine there will be magic skills added later that will allow casting while moving or hasten the casting time.

This sounds about right.

Right now it's difficult to enchant mid-battle.

I vote for the enchantment to last for an hour or until the end of the session. I also want the magic flame to last longer or turn off when cast again.

+1, most definitely. I think the radial wheel is slow and cumbersome, and wonder why they didn't utilise the F1 to F12 keys for the spells, once you have chosen what spells you want available to you. It would save a bit of valuable time in a life or death situation.
