RuneScape: Dragonwilds

Current Recommendations
Hello,

I wanted to post my current recommendations at this time. Game is pretty decent for early access. Love the hit feedback from enemies, you're the best to do it in this genre so far. It shows u guys aren't lazy lol. If you listen to the community, you guys could make a killer game here. It has all the tools, but seriously, consider PVP/MMO stuff to add, even if you have to divert a bit. It will be worth it because you will be first to do it in this genre.

1. Be able to craft from storage (huge QoL improvement that a lot of survival games are starting to adopt)
2. There are some issues with the movement in terms of how it flows when running / walking. Looks a bit laggy/glitchy. Is not smooth.
3. Tighten up on performance (don't make the same mistake enshrouded and Icarus have). Make performance a #1 priority. Bad performance scares players and it's not healthy.
4. The game has some great RPG aspects and survival aspects. I think you have an opportunity here to add some more MMO vibes / PVP. I think it would really separate you from enshrouded/valheim by adding in some of that classic MMO feeling mixed with PVP. PVP would draw in a massive crowd. You could implement something like New World style, but now you have the building and this new artwork, so you could really win here. It's a good idea. Would be awesome to team up and attack each other on the map.
5. When moving near enemies sometimes I just stop. It's like an invisible wall. Hit box or something needs to be lowered, doesn't feel smooth. Especially when there are a lot of mobs.
6. Allow us to at least run in water that is ankle high. Moving through water overall does feel a bit too slow as well.
7. Allow certain foods and drinks to give buffs. If I make mixed grill, I should get a faster health regen, or something. Right now it's too standard, it just fills up my food faster, but does it last longer? I can't tell. Same for fluids. Seems like it does nothing. I could be wrong. This would help with the stamina issues too. I think the stamina drains a bit too fast. But if I make some good foods and it helps my stamina, thats fair.
8. Allow us to move already existing structures (ie chests, storage) - QoL

These are just some of the things right now that I can think of. Overall, game is pretty decent for early access, but needs some polishing for sure. Don't skimp on the performance, crack down super hard on that. I know it sucks and it's tough, but it's important. I think my feedback is pretty valuable. I am sure I will think of some other things too!. Good luck!

Adding to the list above. For the 4/4 servers, the first group I had added to my lodgings making a communal house. I hope they expanded to more than four people soon, but need some kind of control over who can delete what, after it is built. Mine is a non-PVP world, but thieves have destroyed our initial attempts to create a cooperative space. We had built floors and foundations for storage, skills devices that require cover and rooms at higher levels for bedding and such. We had built enough communal stores that we could adventure in two dungeons and seemed to be going well.

Since I was the one who 'created' the world, when I logged off, I assume the rest go booted. I came back for a 2nd and 3rd login and realized people were hopping in, stealing resources and bouncing. Not a good feeling to see all the hard work of the original group stolen like that. The last straw was someone who came in and immediately started deleted the teleport pad and the whole house, stores, crafting sets, kiln, etc. I logged off to stop him from destroying the whole thing. Basically the entire house, storage boxes and all crafting items were destroyed. I password protected the world to keep it from happening again until some level of 'ownership' over destroying stuff can be initiated. I am trying to learn the system, not rebuild the place to eat/sleep every hour long day.

If any of the 3 people see this posting, I am hoping I can invite them back to the server. Until then I am leaving it locked down, defeating the purpose of learning/sharing.
