I agree with those suggestions. Public lobby grief / trolling should be a punishable thing. Permissions to edit world structures and lock them would be a good start, but a blacklist is also needed for the host to ban unwanted players, I reckon.
I also agree with the 8/8 or 16/16, with 'locks' on built items, so they cannot be deleted by anyone but the owner. You can even put in an abandonment clause that opens ownership to items where a person doesn't come back after 10 'real' days.
Someone deleted my team's stuff today so I gave up.
Mind you, the game needs a Permissions setting for servers, where only people granted a level of Permission can interact with other player's stuff.
You can make a new character and, in the same manner, visit your main characters world. If I wanted to host a world, I'd make a new world and use that for online play. Nothing to grief that way and you might find some trustworthy players while not risking your stuff.
Ah well that's great then I might hop in with my main to help/play with some people.
This way there is actually a point of progression regardless if you play alone or with others.
Thanks !
I don't have anyone who plays this game. If you want to add me on steam, I'd be more than happy to play with you.
Do you want to add me as a friend and play with me?
Always make a separate save for public use, even for friendly co-op.
