But… you can’t really identify however you want in this game, and that’s kind of the whole issue. If the game actually let you do that, people wouldn’t be asking for more LGBTQ+ content in the first place. It’s not just about slapping a rainbow flag on something or picking a pronoun—it’s about having characters, stories, and options that actually reflect different identities. Saying “just pretend” is a shortcut for “we didn’t bother.”

The LGBT+ community represents 7.6% of the US adult population. If they add some LGBT stuff then I want the Army, Navy, Marine and Air force flags, OEF and OIF veteran flags as well. The US Veteran population is 6.1% so lets be fully inclusive and include us as well. The difference is most veterans don't give a sht because we know what we are and what we did and don't need to bring this BS to ever little thing we ever interact with. Granted their are always those few oddballs that are all "thank me for my service" but those guys are douches. So congrats you are the equivalent of someone asking to be thanked for the service they voluntarily signed up for.
