Character wiped after update

Anyone else had their character wiped after recent patch? 22 hours gone....

You playing on a different system? I don't think there is a cloud save for this.
Anyway, to answer your question, no, my character is still there, no progress lost.

Could be a corrupted save file. I'd send in a bug report so they can figure out what happened.

Have a look in the saved games folder, look for [charactername].json.backup file in the savecharacters folder. Put the corrupted(?) [charactername].json somewhere safe, just in case, then remove the .backup part of the name. Maybe you will get your character back, maybe not, but it's worth a shot.

I'd recommend backing up the entire saved games folder at least once a day, maybe more, if you want to play safe.
