Questing?

I haven't purchased the game yet, but am very interested in it. Does the game have any type of player made quest system or quests in general?

I'm always down for a game with great build mechanics, but i'm tired of not being able to do anything with the creations I build. No NPCs to place, no quests to create, so was just curious if it's even a thing in this game?

it has quests, yes. No player generated ones though
