gemstones bugged?

anyone actually getting gemstones while mining? I've mined so much tin/copper(well over 100 bars worth) and have not gotten a single opal. I've also not gotten anything from silver/gold.

*issue where if you're maxed mining you wont get gems.

Yeah I think its bugged at this point, I’m way over the level needed for the gemstones and Ive also mined so much. Zero gems

I’ve gotten one opal and I’m not even sure it was from a node.

found another post talking about being maxed mining makes them not spawn... this is true. just made a new character and got an opal on my first copper node.

yes can confirm max level mining breaks the gem perk , make a new character to farm them

i am nowhere near max and i get no gems.

I got a few today from mining. Super uncommon tho.
