Not getting archery xp

Anyone else not getting any archery xp? I have no issues with anything else but get nothing for using my bow.

same with magic, it just says "coming soon" so maybe its something for the future :)

Both Magic and Ranged are currently disabled for combat XP gain. One of the upcoming patches is going to unlock both and Farming.

Fun Fact though you CAN gain Ranged and Magic XP, just not by traditional means. There are books in the game that give XP for skills, and there are actually Ranged and Magic ones. I found one already lol.

But even if you gain XP in them now, they don't unlock anything right now. They're still worth using for combat though. Ranged headshots are really strong, and Magic is really good for holding back swaths of enemies.

they are not yet finished i think they are probably still looking into how bowskills and magic skills will work
tbh this game has hell of a lot of potential and maybe it also bleeds a bit into a new runescape i would kill for a runescape with a good combat system and skilling

Oh I'm loving the game so far, I was just curious if its just something on my end or a widespread issue, didn't see anyone else saying anything about it so thought I'd put it out there.

You're not gaining Magic XP by casting Magic spells. You can only get it by books.
