Replying to say me too, played for like 2 hours fine, then my computer hard crashes every 10 min or so in game. Full black screens, have to shut it off at the power supply. Then tried playing apex which is notoriously trash and that ran fine.

Same.

4070TI
AM5 7700
32GB RAM DDR5 6000mhz
I'm getting the same thing, 3070TI, they said in one of the hotfix posts that some NVIDIA cards are affected with these crashes, it's been worse for me since they did the gem fix though.

Crashes like every 10 mins or so.

1080ti 11gb vram
5800x
32gb ram
on game only ssd
frame gen turned off.

btw adding launch option of -dx11 or -vulkan game still crashes so the dev workaround doesnt work.

EDIT:
Using the -dx11 and this here seems to have helped fix the crashes for me:

Ignoring all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that never helped - here is a good fix for crashing that helped me:
1. Download MSI Afterburner
2. Set "Core Clock (MHz)" to -50 [Make sure to Apply changes]
3. Close MSI Afterburner and load up Steam
4. Go to your Library and open the RuneScape: Dragonwilds page
5. Click Manage [It's the cog wheel / settings button]
6. Click Properties
7. Make sure you are in the General page and find the Launch Options
8. Enter "-dx11" into the text field [without the "quotes"]
9. Load up the game and enjoy without crashing

This seems to have worked for me so far, no crashes after like 30 mins where before it was every 5 to 10 mins.

Hey guys,

I was having the "Fatal Error" crash every single time I tried to play... What worked for me, which I hadn't read anywhere, was that I had a MSI Afterburner Overclock active (which doesn't crash any other game) - which I had to reset the clock speeds back to default. Have not had another crash since, game works perfectly.

You can't just close Afterburner, you need to set the clocks back to default. Afterburner isn't the problem, the overclock is.

Hope this helps you. Good luck!
Yep, it works on my desktop PC but when I run on my Asus laptop it crashes and gives fatal error everytime and I’m not about to start tweaking my whole ass device for a game still in development. Since it’s still early release until next year I’m sure this is up on their list of issues to address at some point.
