It also amazes me that the part we see (ie the world) is bland for its use of computer resources. Lots of effort into light is like 'why' this is not a highend game its a Valheim clone.
But starting an engine from scratch would cost LOADS of money, Money Jagex doesn't have.
I've noticed in your past posts, you tend to have a lot of issues running games with your setup. Maybe you have some hardware issues, or some stuff ain't compatible or something. Might be a good idea to run your PC through some tests or make sure everything is seated and updated properly.
