No way to build roofs currently. Always says "unstable" no matter what you do.
Fix the bug please.

you need to put pillars my guy, not just one but everywhere you can think of Valheim structural integrity when building bigger bases
Use pillars as to support the roof

What is a "Valheim" is he the construction tutorial guy? Also I tried that. There are 5 pillars in each wall segment. I just kept adding more until it wouldn't let me add any more.

no it is a bug i have pillars everywhere and it still says unstable. The same setup on another side is fine with the roof placed but on one side it is unstable. plz fix this its mad annoying and visually displeasing to have an unfinished roof.

Pillars in the wall don't help. That's just putting support where you already have it.

Question. Is your floor made of foundations or floor tiles? They need to be foundation pieces, otherwise some of them may not be fully in contact with the ground.

need support for the roof just like every other survival building game. are your support pillars touching the ground, ive built walls with pillars near by to support floors and rooves np.

You could watch Valheim building tutorials on Ytube, this system is almost a 1:1 remake.

I was having the same issue. Had beams in the wall. Noticed I used floor tile in one corner so it wasn't touching the ground. Had to add one more beam into the ground and then it worked.
Same issue here. Other side of the roof fit perfectly, other is just unstable even with loads of beams.

You need a foundation instead of floor tiles. Any floor tile that is not touching the ground is not providing support. If you don't want to rebuild it, you can put a pillar under that floor tile.

Thanks, this actually made it work when replacing floors with foundations!
