wool threads/sheep

Hey all anyone know where to find sheep/rams anything that i can farm to get wool and wool threads. Been playing and have all the upgrades ready to start making bronze. I have one wool thread and I just dont remember what i killed to make it. been searching for a long time now and i cant find anything. Just rage quit because I died from a back to back hunt at night lol

they are in the same region you went to for tin and copper the animal is wolves/dire-wolves
