Base defense

There is none. You receive a message saying your base is under attack by a warband halfway back to your corpse to retrieve the weapons you dropped and you're forced to fight them barehanded while they one shot structures like they're made of paper. Did you AFK maybe? Shame, because there's no pause button, even in SOLO GAME. Insane work yentlemen.

i get what you're saying. we need barricades and bulwarks. first base i made was floating off a ruin so mobs couldn't path to it, not my first rodeo. second base i made near the church because warband of goblin runts is a fart and no dragon acid railing me in my base every day.

Hopefully Raftbuilding comes in a future update. build a base on water and set sail.

Okay but they don't actually attack your base if you're not inside of it, you can literally just run away and watch them standing there doing nothing. They only reason they attack it is to get to you, so if you leave they do nothing.
