If you are standing on the 2nd floor of a building, the dragon acid can't hit you. The puddle defaults to the bottom floor.

Probably considered an exploit, but given that you can't do anything about these random attacks and are forced to just run around like a bug trying not to get stepped on, I consider it fair.
