Bows?

One of the first quests is to kill a deer. He says build a bow but archery isnt even in yet. Find it odd to have that be the setup. Fun game so far

You can build a bow at the crafting table once you've discovered thread at the spinning wheel.

Bows are out, just not the ranged skill. You need to make a tanning station and/or loom and it unlocks the bow recipe.

[Tachyon]

The Bow is in the game, but the skill for it isn't in the game yet, so it stays at lvl 1. Same with Magic.
