Cant sleep when tired???

So, what exactly is the point to not being able to sleep during the day? With a game mechanic like restfulness, and how much it can impact your gameplay, it makes 0 sense to limit when you can sleep. Especially when there seem to be no night specific events. I am down 2 bars of rest and cannot sleep because its not night. So I go off to do something and by the time im done, the night has been missed again. I have basically no stamina now and cant leave even if i wanted to to get things done. So im typing this up while im waiting for night so i can sleep even though my character is exhausted. Please, consider changing when you can sleep.
