yeah it's pretty obnoxious. luckily it seems stuff doesn't despawn, but yeah, it's 100% annoying

Why is this a problem? Makes it easier to loot them.

The issue I have with cooking is when I'm making something with two ingredients and one empties first the cooking continues with the solo item if there is enough. Which is typically wasteful as that item would have better served in the combo recipe.

Seriously? This game has probably has more annoying things than any other survival/crafting game that I have ever played (and I probably played everything you can think of) and at the same time has the content of early alpha build. That's actually quite remarkable, its like they hired someone for the sole reason to break the flow of your gameplay and make you insane.

Let me see...
Maybe I want to put stuff to craft in all my benches (which will probably grown in number with development) and leave to explore without picking random stuff that I wont need for the journey
Maybe when I come back I don't want everything to scattered all over the floor

Maybe I wanna cook 50 of some recipe, but get only 5 before I go somewhere and leave the rest in the bench.

Maybe when I play co-op with my friends I don't want to loot what they are cooking/crafting just because I walk around our base. And then have to conduct an investigation about who accidentally took the 10 leather I crafted for my armor.

Pretty sure If me and my friends would actually had the patience to play some more and we didn't alt-f4 the ♥♥♥♥ out I could have triple that list

I mean.. cmon

seems you need to go outside and live some life your complains are easly fixed if you have a calm leveled head a simple box next to the cooking fire to store things picked up would sovle alot of your complaints, i too have played near every survival game there is and this has proven at EA to be better then most. if you want to complain atleast at ideas on how to fix said problems insted of crying like a child its realy not needed and helps no1.

Or I could use my time to game while I'm not outside and play something good.
Also who's crying Jeffrey, all my original post said was "♥♥♥♥ that".

The inability of that dude (and the devs obviously) to think of a reason why this suck and no other game does it like that is what got me.
I'm willing to bed 0.32$ that this will not be changed "because its dev decision, and they will stay true to their vision".
Actually used this to our advantage, setup like 6 fires cooking water and one person standing in the center gaining XP. Little broken lol, but we had fun.

Yup, would rather let me pick the recipe that I.m making and end when it done.
