runecrafting guild quest

has anyone done it and what was the prize? i did it and was quite sure it unlocked a recipe for some weapon with "light" in the name.. but when i went to check from crafting table.. there was nothing.. i had my bags full when i finished it, so maybe it was recipe that got dropped and disappeared?

Check under recipes tab in the Journal. I had the same thing happen for a Anti-Dragon shield, but it requires the smithing forge. It doesn't show as a craftable recipe until you have that. i assume higher end armors & weapons are crafted on the smithing forge.

I just did the quest...

You get it in the dungeon under the "guild", it's for crafting a "staff of light". I had room in my inventory (having experience from not getting rewarded from the ghostspeak amulet quest). I did not receive a staff, a recipe scroll, or a recipe at the crafting table.

Ill run another character through the now cleared dungeon and try the quest on them and see, because i got hit by an arrow as I became hunted as the quest completed on my current guy.

I know it's EA, but maybe put the quest completion bit on the receiving of the rewards and not hitting spacebar. that way if say the game crashes or you hit esc or the fking dragon starts bombing the area you can cancel the thing and come back and re-initiate the quest completion.

where is the item in the dungeon ?

it's a statue in a pathway you need to windstep to in the cave portion of the dungeon.

I did it on another character and it successfully completed. the staff shows up in your recipes and requires blightwood, wild anima, sapphires, vault shards, and a vault core. It does not show up on the crafting table most likely because it requires something else to craft.

Saradomin's Staff of Light. while you can unlock this early game, you'll be pretty deep into the game before having everything to make it.

Based on the description in the Journal, it's a Masterwork. Masterwork equipment, I believe, based on the roadmap, are still being worked on right? So maybe, still not in until it's patched?
