Pausing?

Hello all, is it possible to pause the game when playing solo offline? I am kinda playing at work so I am not gonna buy if pausing is not an option. Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem like you can pause even when offline

No pausing as far as I can see. Even single player is technically a server instance, which runs even if you open the ESC menu or whatnot.

I would really like the ability to pause in solo mode. But there isn't anything like that at the moment, single player is just multiplayer without other players. The game is hosting its own server, it seems.

Pause Pause Pause ... +1,000,000. Having to exit to main menu for a bathroom pitstop playing solo does not make sense to me.

Pausing is not in by default, although there is ways to pause.. First native option would just be leaving to main menu. 2nd option I wont discus here as it requires 3rd party application.

I hope devs will add pausing for solo play in the future...

would love the option too. i sometimes have to step away in a hurry and with all those random attack mechanics it would be a welcome addition for single player. given that you are not even safe in your house.

They need to add a pause button. I do the same. Every time I come back to the game, I am thirsty and hungry.
