Can't play the game, won't let me "Confirm" my character

As the title says, I haven't played the game since I can't click the button that says "Confirm" in the character creation.

To give all the details of the situation and all the fixes I've tried:
1- The game launches without a problem. I am able to agree to everything and even accept the Epic EOS. I've made sure that my Epic and Steam accounts are linked also. It throws me directly into character creation but the button to "confirm" my character makes a sound and does nothing. There's instances where the character simply disappears from the screen and I can't edit.
2- I've tried to use the "skip" button and it sends me into the menu. Hitting "play" just sends me into character creation and the cycle repeats.
3- I've tried verifying the game's files but they come back clean and with no issues.
4- I've uninstalled the game twice now and I've downloaded into different types of drives, both in an SSD and an HDD. It is now currently installed in my SSD.
5- I've updated the drivers, since I was trying without updating them, but it's the same outcome.
6- I've tried simply creating a character through the menu and not hitting "play", but it does nothing.

I've looked for answers all over, and have found nobody with my same problem.

I tried that also. There's just no fix so far.

Any updates on this? There's like 3 other people having the same issue and no one has any solutions, very annoying

Run steam as admin then run the game as admin direct from the folder fixed it for me.
