I found a bug: 20+YearVet and I have to buy another game? No, free for 20+yr players..

You're not getting any more money out of this player. You sucked life itself out of most with the first game and never even gave it the correct attention. You can make this one free in a few months.

you realize this is a completely different game? This is a standalone survival game, no reason for it to be free. I'm a 20+ vet too and this is such a dumb and childish post.

I actually understand OP because their previous games funded the entire dev process for the current and future (they could fail multiple projects and still be financially peachy due to their accruing $$ from the other games) I don't know who made the decision to not include a typical jagex F2P style, or maybe do a F2P trial and then let people buy the game to get past a certain point. IDK why they'd just ship a 30$ price tag when their games are traditionally F2P, and their audience is again, traditionally F2P.

I personally wont pick this game up for 30$ unless it becomes like, the next BIG thing. (Since people LOVE OSRS/Modern RS, which is free / can be entirely F2P, I don't think this game will do monumental numbers for the current future. I also saw you can join peoples worlds and steal etc, which means theres potential shenanigans that are problematic already, and i'm not talking about the normal ingame grief, more along the lines of exploiters / glitchers and stuff being massively undermoderated)

EDIT: and it looks like you run this through epic for online servers.... GG.

Twenty year+ vets are 10 a penny. I bought one of the first Final Fantasy games - why do I have to pay for another one? Same with Doom on floppy disk - why should I pay for another? Make them freeeeeeeeee for us old farts!!!

Following the same logic, here but will you never purchase Warcraft 3 because you played World of Warcraft? Two different games, generations, and genres in the same universe....
