previous discussion about a and b got locked
Due to some incredibly rude people spewing insults and not even properly reading my post. I would like to reformat it and make it a little longer so people get bored and don't read this far. But yes i would like an option for Male and female. Personally i am Male and would like an option for Male in the game. I do not identify with a or b. My body type and gender is male. I do not mind if the a and b body type are still there. I just also want the option to be male.

Same, i want to be a true male in game, masculine and normal, not A OR B.
wait... i've installed the game but haven't played it yet. so it just says a/b body type? i mean if one of them looks male-ish, what does it matter? as long as my character doesn't have big lumps on it's chest and cake then i'm fine - that's my male character. now if they don't have a range of different character voice types (if they're in the game) then that would be... kind of awkward, not going to lie. don't think i could ignore that one.

There is no character voice option. but i think it defaults based on your body type. It matters to me because i want to say my character is male but i can not. I can only say my character is type a which is really disappointing. If it did not matter games would not have changed from male female options to begin with. to clarify, i just want the option to choose male. i am not asking for a and b to removed

It honestly doesn't matter just some people want to find issue with it is all. I remember even some old games back in the 80s and 90s use to just say A and B body types. It's only now an issue for the people who've labelled it woke. It's really not as it's pretty easy to tell what each is.

Let's face it buddy it's not the fact that you want to say definitively that your character is Male or Female. It's the fact that you want to try and call something woke when A and B has been used for many many more years than you guys think. You know what each are, you give power to words and meanings yourself. You've simply decided to try and find issue with a naught issue. Grow up honestly.

A/B Bodytype = erasure of women, it comes from 4chan, it was created to make people hate trans people that's legit where it has come from.
Trans people are also either male or female who want to be the other sex, that's literally in the definition of trans, so the claim that they do this for the "trans people" is a lie, which also leads to transphobia.
A/B bodytype = hate.

I just want these games that have character creation to stop making females{B} run like dudes....

Nope, this is a new thing and it's ideologically motivated. You are right though that we still know what each are despite insane people trying to obfuscate the difference between men and women.

Can you name games that used A / B bodytypes for chosen characters in the 1980s then?

Even one game.... ?

Can't ask someone who does not bother to read a comment to do research to back up their claim.
99.9% of the world population don't identify as A or B. If i would say to my family or friends i identify as Body type A or B i'd be laughed at hysterically.
Also why is Body type B's chest always covered and body type A always topless in most of games that use this? It's all dumb to begin with.
Ghevd Apr 16 @ 7:36am
This is a nonissue. You are asking the devs to have the same exact body type but labeled male. It is pointless coding.

I understand the argument is on the principle of the matter but this is a gaming forum and not a political stage.

If this is such a dealbreaker that males are referred to as body type alpha or body type a or male than simply do not buy the game.

I'd prefer that the time wasted coding such a request instead be used to add more features to the gameplay.

Sticks and stones boys and girls... ladies and gentlemen... type As and type Bs... sticks and stones....
Zunde Apr 16 @ 7:46am
Character A is Male

Character B is Female

It's really that easy. Do we really not have better things to be mad about?
