Get rid of structure integrity please.
I started building in this game for the first time and saw the dreaded yellow and red structural integrity mechanic. The only purpose is servers to have this feature in a survival game, is to make it less fun. At the very least, add a setting for us to turn it off so we have the full ability to go crazy with the building. Its significantly worse than valheims too, almost like...they dont want us to build at all...

Yeah i'm trying to make a house off a cliff and even with many pillars reaching down to the ground it's not letting me build in spots it's extremely frustrating

I cant stand it. I just want to build without limits. not only does it take forever to gather resources, you are hit with structural integrity road blocks making you waste resources on beams that hardly even help at all. I hope they just trash the mechanic all together.

it makes building so boring. It was a legit chore in valheim, and valheim was a great game. But building with these stupid features is a damn chore

In Valheim there's a mod for that, something like Vanilla+?
But we are talking about two games that are using two separate game engines

I'm really curious about how modders will make a mod that removes the Stability in this game, or if they would even be able to make one
From my experience trying to make it via .lua it was hard to impossible, only those who know how to use .pak will be able to mod it

But anyway, can't wait for a mod that will disable the stability, I still can't finish my roof :mimir_lol:

Please ignore the dumbest request ever. The one thing as an architectural element that makes this game superior to all other crafting and building games is its ability to be realistic requiring beams and architectural plans to make it work. Brilliant work Runescape!

Nah, it’s a literal copy and paste of the valheim system. I don’t think creative freedom is that terrible in a VIDEO GAME

Valheim wasn't original either, every game looks to someone else like its from another game even though those games were not the first either.

Why fix it if it is not broken? Would be terrible and outright awful if new games with base building mechanics would not use existing proofen mechanics players already enjoy.

Have you ever played rust before? You can litterally build anything with no limits. That’s what I look for in a survival game.

To be fair the game doesn't let you even place pieces down if it's unstable. Where as Valheim will let you, and THEN break apart your pieces. Kind of a "one up" on Valheim in that regards.

I don't mind games with structural integrity, but I'd honestly much rather not have it, so I can build to my hearts content. It's fun making interesting buildings.

Much like all the mods being added to Nexus now though, I'm sure there'll be a mod to remove that in a short amount of time.
lmfao. If construction integrity is a problem, there are plenty of games that do not have it, like Minecraft. Maybe thats more of your type of game?
As always, if you do not like a game, move on to the next you will hopefully get a refund.
Structural integrity is a norm in modern survival games, I'm 99% sure it will stay.
Yeah! one up for sure. than again, no structures of stone?? just feels like a failed building skill to me. And sooner or later we should be able to shield some of the damage from raids ie stone foundation so at least stuff and chests are safe. Stone outer walls and bronze doors. At least this dragon do not set fire to everything and for that i'm very happy and grateful XD

hardcore Survival games are meant to have a structural integrity to structures, other wise it just becomes fortnite

I think a lot of problems can be solved by adding options. If you're playing single player and by yourself, it should be an option for that player to turn that feature off, though also preventing the session from being public.

So have public games have a set ruleset, but let solo players choose their options. Everyone is happy.
For sure, as this is BETA early access I'm sure the dev team appreciate all the input.
And also remind yourself y'all that this is a BETA test of the game hosted by early access at STEAM.
Remind yourself that every smart or stupid thing you write is read by other humans, and some of the human devs that is at work.
As far as I can see, to many humans forget this fact.

no structuctural integrity = jump skill is useless
as well as map borders to stop you from skipping to another biom
