Please add a Necromancer Class
Please add Necromancy or Summoning spells.

I must admit that Necromancer, in almost any game (not Elder Scrolls Online or Guild Wars 2, sadly), is my favourite class. I quite enjoy my character using fire-breath though!

Necromancy was completely out-of-place for RS3, and would be completely out-of-place for Dragonwilds as well. For many reasons that should be inherently understood by people.

As a summoner main in any game that allows it, I would love to be able to summon. Something about frolicking, picking mats while your summons kill stuff. I loved gardening in Terraria while my summons fought.
Any follow up on this? Early Acess is out and I can guess Necromancy isnt in it yet right? Any chance we can have an army of the dead in the future?
I want both the necromancy and summon skills.

I don't see how it'd be out of place, I haven't gotten the game myself but I think it would fit perfectly. Epic Fantasy that already has Inherent magic baked into the game. Already a skill to shred Tree's into Bones. Hunting wildlife and such. The only fundamental principles of Necromancy is you're in control of the death around you and use Magic to puppeteer dead bodies or turn them into ghouls/ Skeletons. Could even be spirits, you could use the entropic power of death and plague your enemies from afar.

It doesn't make sense for our character lorewise. Necromancy is illegal and frowned upon in most human kingdoms. Even Wise old man would shun you for using necromancy. Besides Ashenfall story is not in the sixth age.
I'm more open to summoning at least. You build a summoning obelisk at your base and you can then infuse pouches to summon spirit wolves, chickens, spirit scorpions, Unicorn stallion and Bunyip up to endgame familiars being Fire titans and steel titans. Beasts of burden familiars would be war tortoise and pack mammoth being the most popular. Skilling familiars such as beaver for woodcutting getting more logs and Lava titan for mining getting more ores.
And I don't care if you bring up examples of necromancer class being fun in other mmos. It's not comparable to RuneScape lore, where people from human kingdoms will treat you like a wanted thug when you use necromantic incantations and abilities often. Dragonwilds storyline takes place more or less fifth age. There should be no ambiguity in the timeline. You can ask Mod doom for possibility of doing druid playstyle in dragonwilds if you like though.
