Yes, you can play solo.

I haven't gotten far enough in to give a concise answer to your second question, sorry.

1you can play solo but looks like you need internet (shouldnt be too much of an issue?)

2 i dont think many people will be able to answer the second question as its a new game. You level up considerably fast compared to runescape though and theres not that many skills. Imo it still need some polishing / wait for it to be more done / buy ARK instead as that has a better world/creatures etc.

Closed alpha player here. 1. Yes, 2. There's about 25-35 hours of content at the moment. Took me 30 hours to beat the game in an Alpha last year in December

You have more ways to level magic so that doesn't matter but ranged does suck because I enjoy using bows in games.
