I was excited but I’m seeing people talking about forced online play, and needing an epic account. Which makes me dislike a little this now. Are we not going to have dedicated server support for people to spin up their own game servers and mod the game and server files to allow more than 4 player co-op? This survival game sucks even for an early access offering with content missing from the final version i wouldn't touch this game. Palworld and other survival games are much more interesting with Mods and/or Dedicated Servers.

Screw that I don't want to be solo or co-op only on their servers. If I wanted to play an online game on someone else's server I would just play an MMORPG like Guild Wars 2, or RuneScape. Allow for community dedicated servers and mods. Plus screw off with the epic requirement.

so you're mad about two insanely extremely trivial things that literally don't matter after 12 seconds. you could just like get over it and enjoy the game, or continue being hung up on ♥♥♥♥ that literally does not matter at all or impact your life negatively in any conceivable way. seems like a pretty easy choice but damn a lot of you people are dumb.

A co-op survival game should have dedicated server support. I have friends in areas of my country that only get the most basic internet packages would be a detriment to the experience. Being able to buy a server instance in a location that we all would be able to connect to and each have better connection all around is the bare minimum I want. Mod support also means that the game can be tailored to however I and my friends would want to play.

I'm sorry but your argument makes no sense in this instance. Can I ask you what your IQ is?

Your ranting makes no sense. Game literally just came out a week ago, it's in Beta Early Access, and you're asking for Mod support and dedicated servers lol. They already are going to add dedicated servers and there's already mods floating around for the game on Nexus, and I'm pretty sure official mod support is in the works. Chill, let them cook and get things going.

Okay so are they allowing self-hosted dedicated servers, or are they only going to allow servers hosted on jagex servers like project zanaris for old school runescape was going to be. Where you can modify xp rates and other variables and no self hosted servers only player owned instances on jagex servers. That is the question I have now, because they are allowing players servers but how?
