new update ruined everything

so after the most recent update, i cant even boot the game. uninstalled and tried a fresh install, same issue.
anyone else getting the fatal error crash issue? something about consumable potion

Try going to the game's file destination and right clicking on it, properties, compatibility, run in 640 x 480 screen resolution, if game starts alt tab into it change resolution in game
