Am I stupid or are the numbers on the wall suppose to correlate with other set of code?
Most of the puzzles feel like: "Here's some logical clues. Now use it to perform this logic puzzle." This one feels more like, here are some random numbers. It's to throw you off the actual letters and numbers that you need for the actual password.
Totally agree with this. I thought the numbers were the order to put the letters/numbers into, since they're sequential. But I still don't get how you're supposed to figure it out. Do the numbers on the wall even matter?

I assume it must be something really obvious that I've been too dense to see, but I'm not seeing how the password and code are related. It would be nice if someone could spoiler an explanation here.
