Can you please add proper Hor+ support to increase horizontal FOV rather than just zoom in?
My issue is, there are black bars on cut scenes. I really hate when devs do this. It doesn't do anything but take away from the experience.
Add this to the bottom of the engine.ini
[/script/engine.localplayer\]
AspectRatioAxisConstraint=AspectRatio\_MaintainYFOV
i did what you said and still hasn't done anything?
Those black bars are part of forced HUD.
Download UnrealEngine 4 unlocker, attach it to the game process, then press the toggle HUD key and viola!
But you will need to toggle HUD again if you wish to see the objective marker and the menu.
Could you actually add this setting (AspectRatioAxisConstraint=AspectRatio_MaintainYFOV):

to the game default configs?
As of Unreal Engine 5.3, Epic finally changed the FOV scaling default behaviour to Hor+, so all UE future games should be ultrawide friendly:

feel free to contact me if you need help, I'm a UE dev focused on Ultrawide support.
Not working properly sadly, it cuts top & bottom of the screen instead of adding horizontal fov.
