Boss Fights tips/help?
So the first mid-level boss and main boss were pretty easy. I wasn't quite sure where to go to get back up when fighting the boss that turned into bats, but used the one scaffolding I could find to climb back up and then run around the upper area.

The kestrel proved to be a little bit annoying, especially when the basic enemy type did not spawn. A bunch of kicks in rage mode seem to do the trick.

In the clock tower, however, Ephemera absolutely kicked my ass. Any advice? I hate to use cheat codes to advance, but that platforming intro gets old fast.

so no one answered properly, in the clock tower you just have to wait her out the hp bar is a red herring she will just keep healing, later on she has a boss fight where you have to destroy her shadow spots but she still has a bull crap attack that does way too much damage imo, there are plenty of guides online though, which I am assuming you found by now but thought i would put in my two cents

Did you upgrade your hp?

Yes? Isn't it automatic, right? I got one upgrade beforehand, I believe. There's no manual upgrade option, right?

Well, semi-automatic, maybe. You get your hp upgraded the more enemies you insta-kill on hazards.

Right, but there's no option to apply the upgrade. It just happens.

I went toe-to-toe with Ephemera in the clocktower in rage mode and she destroyed me over and over.

You "apply" them by flinging as many enemies as you want onto hazards - the more you fling the higher your hp. So you do have some control over it.
As for the boss fight, been a while since I played. I only remember fighting Ephemera in that asian park and Ferill on top of that tower with gasses. Do you mean that or am I forgetting something?

No, earlier on you fight Ephemera in a collapsing clock-tower

Oh right. I could be wrong, but I think since you dont defeat her there you're just supposed to hang on until the cutscene comes. Try that.
