How do shower?

I can't seem to get my person to take a shower. I turn the shower on, but there seems to be no interaction to bathe.

Don't place the shower to high up, have it at about half height and then turn the water on, afterwards just stand underneath it and you should see the hygiene icon improve

I've placed the shower every which way I could, and my person still isn't getting clean.

i went to sleep and the next day it worked

I am not able to shower either. I was able to before the latest update.

actually, try taking your person's shirt off, that might be why it's not working

This sounds like a dumb question and for that I'm sorry, but how do I take the person's shirt off?

No question is dumb :), but if you press the TAB key to bring up your inventory and then under the section that says cloth, you can drag the shirt across to the main inventory section

Click "TAB" - it opens your inventory and the clothes you are actually wearing are on the left side. Just take the shirt and move it to the inventory :)

I went removed the shirt, but my person still cannot get clean. I've tried everything and nothing works unfortunately :(

it seems we all cant wash our butts in this game guess i wasn't bugging ether when i seen the game play there was more then one outfit to take a shower and there is no store to buy clothing to switch or buy

They had to remove the clothing store because it is bugged. They will be putting it back when it is fixed.
