So how is the game really?

So its not Open World, whatever. I honestly don't care. Extraction Looter is fine to me, and I was honestly hoping for one that wasn't Medieval to actually stick.

I'm assuming 90% of the knee jerk hate is by people who wanted the Open World. Personally I don't are if its open world, or extraction looter

So discussing just how the game plays, not what you thought or was hoping the game was going to be. How is it really?

It's just a bad game. Having seen it streamed for the past hour, it's not a good zombie game, there's barely any in it, it's not a good extraction shooter, because it's incredibly unfinished, it's not a good survival game, because again, unfinished, it's filled with tons of bugs, performance issues, and server problems. I've seen much worse games than this in Early Access, but seeing that they tried to release this as is without telling people what the game had been turned into, shows they aren't really a dev team to be trusted and I would be surprised if they even stick with the game for very long.

So discussing just how the game plays, not what you thought or was hoping the game was going to be. How is it really?

The game is simply very barebones. Lots of bugs. Can't even jump over tiny barriers without getting stuck. Empty city. No real progression systems. Etc...

Watch a few streams, you'll see.

It's got a decent foundation as an extraction shooter, though definitely a busted launch. Overpriced for what we have so far but there is potential. It currently amounts to a very, very similar game to Deadside and/or Marauders with the map of the Division along with many bugs. I'm debating sticking out because I see potential, although for the people who aren't just memeing and genuinely feel scammed by this launch I can see where they are coming from.
