the discord is locked

so due to the overwhelming backlash to the games launch the mods have locked the discord. they are apparently trying to get more servers up and are trying to solve the issues. they said to expect an update on the game but did not clarify if that would happen sooner or later.

personal opinion: as I have not been able to get into the game yet I can't say to refund or avoid, I'm going to give this game a chance because its something I want. however charging full price atm seems a little much. this was advertised as a Open world and from what I have seen that is not fully the case. while the map is open and you can go into buildings its size does not share an open world feel. now maybe this is because its an early release and the rest of the game isn't ready yet. but again its certainly not what it was advertised as.

there is a player cap of 32 per server not per instance at this time.

to put it another way, so far from what I've seen from live streams it is Tom Clancys division dark zone but slightly bigger. I've seen from the live streams players crouching and sliding across the floors, and zombies as well, the few times I did see a zombie they would be able to hit you as you knock them back up to like 30 or 50 feet away. however again day one issues are day one issues. also red dots seem to be bugged as well.

hopefully we will get an update from the developers sooner rather then later. heres hoping until then I advise anyone whos trying to connect but cant and feel like they may run out the refund timer from steam to wait. I know thats hard as hell when it looks like fun in this game but just wait. the servers are slammed at the moment anyway. no point in trying to get into the buggy mess of day one as it stands right now. good luck everyone.

I can still see the general chat. just cant post.

NoobOrFeed, I'm not a sheep I'm just more willing to wait for a developer to either make an announcement or pull the game from steam before judging to harshly. if they are a scam then they won't last. this has happened in the past and I've gotten refunds when it comes down to it. it doesn't make sense to partner with nvidia, and even advertise the game in NYC times square and then just dip. thats a class action lawsuit waiting to happen.

they locked it because everyone was just complaining while they were trying to provide answers. they seem to be a small time developer company and were dividing resources to try and get messages answered. they can't be in two places at once.

????? are you saying I'm a dev? cause as flattering as that would be I can assure you I'm not technologically good enough to ever be one xD that would be hilarious though. anyone can post here on the fourm.

So.

We've made the decision to temporarily lock the channel for several reasons. Firstly, it's essential to let things calm down due to the overwhelming toxicity that we currently cannot manage effectively. Secondly, we need to channel all bug reports to the development team, and we can't accomplish this if we aren't allowed to share those reports.
Continuous moderation here is diverting our time away from addressing major bugs and making crucial fixes. A patch is in the works, so please be prepared for an upcoming game update

because I figured just getting the word out was worth it. if anyone read it here and checked there they'd see the same message. that was all. it didn't seem crucial to post the exact same thing. its whatever tho. thanks for posted it here now.
