Let's not even talk about the fake trailers before release, the weird announcements, the reluctance to show actual gameplay, the name trademark dispute, the volunteer testers. This whole game was a scam before release, but that being put aside, just look at the devs in real life on the video interviews they gave. Deadeyes and fake smiles. They LOOK shady as ♥♥♥♥. If just that didn't gave you massive scam-vibes, I'm sorry bro but you deserve to be scammed, These guys are now drinking your clown-money on a beach somewhere, laughing all the way to the bank.

Refund rate was up to 50% about 3-4 days after launch, and it's probably at 70% now.
However, Valve will likely never give them a dime from purchases through Steam if they conclude that they were intentionally fraudulent.

Some sources do say that they received up to 1.5M in either $ or € through other payment sources and basically bypassing Steam, so either way, it's possible they got paid after all and may very well be chilling on a beach somewhere celebrating a successful scam.

That will be sorted, I'm sure. None of it came from the people getting salty on Steam. They're not the first company to "scam" someone. They're just the first ones these people care about, because they bought without doing any due diligence and got burned, and they're stupid enough that they'll likely do it again. You can't scam someone if they don't buy into it, so if there's anyone they should be mad at it's themselves. Can't have that, though, so we'll just blame FNTASTIC and the few people who bought the game for what it was (not what it should have been) and actually enjoy playing.

Because normal human beings don't whine on steam about something that happens outside of steam. I don't give two ♥♥♥♥♥ how much money they took or how they got it. That has no effect on me whatsoever. Most certainly not enough to feel the need to nerd rage over it when I can't put together a full sentence without ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ up kindergarten-level English.
