but you wont get better games than the ones already out there.
most of them arent worth your time.
dayz and scum are also not worth your time
but at least you are not playing them days begone or dead matter.

But no. Surprisingly, years after the arma2 mod, nothing managed to capitalise on that concept. Everyone wanted it, the hype for DayZ standalone before it's release was real. The devs were releasing videos updates showing off new features, motion capture etc... it was coming. But it never really came.
So, to rephrase the op... "Will there ever be a good open world zombie game?'' I dunno man, it must be harder than it looks or something.
