It wouldn't be so bad if they were just transparent about it. No one would bat an eye about indie devs buying assets if they're just honest about it.
That's for a different game, though. It hasn't been proven that they've done it for this game (yet).
WHO CARES?
Phasmaphobia is 100% built on unity assets, literally everything in phasmophobia is bought from unity store.
This isnt a valid critique, stop using this as a critique its stupid af.
the game has many more issues that you could point at. jeez
it is when the devs are being dishonest about it.
Using public assets alone isn't necessarily an issue (look at all the quality RPG maker games)
But it DOES become an issue when your ENTIRE GAME including the mechanics of the game alone are entirely taken from public assets. And you as the developers are on the record saying none of the assets are flipped...
This is particularly egregious when you look at everything ELSE wrong with this game.
That was my bad...
That being said, yeah, the developer lied and sucks and all that.
