The Day Before

The Day Before

Anyone who bought this game knowing the controversy surrounding it, deserve the mess they've got.
The company behind this game did not have reputation or track record. All it took for consumers to buy this game are the initial eye catching trailer, public attention followed it, and persistent excuses of "we are not scammers".
Seems to this game is a testament of how important marketing is and nothing hardly matters for initial sales.
Sure, you've written complaining post on the forum and written negative reviews, but why should they care? You've already given them your money. The game is currently being played by 20k+ players. You're enabling them.

The Day Before is following the same path as some of us saw last decade. At this time one company made a survival horror-zombie game. If my memory doesn't fail it was called: War Z. A lot of people was expecting huge things at that time and at the end it everyone who bought was scammed.

I'm not saying The Day Before is scam. Not yet. Considering it's an EA they will need a few years to fix everything. In the best case they will become what NMS is today. Otherwise, "we told you!"

This same company has done this 3 times already, this is their 3rd zombie survival game that's done the same thing. one they took on investors and then sold it off unfinished to a publisher, one they took in money from crowd funding and then abandoned it and then this, they built up hype and dumped it on steam as an early access with nothing but a tiny world built by following free unreal tutorials on youtube that anyone could make using free assets from unreal store
if you need to clarify that you are not a scammer you are a scammer wtf how are people this stupid XD
