So laggy in free world mode.

im over 50% done with the free mode, but i notice a big disconforting lag from around 37%. it is really annoying because i got a 2070 super so it should run fine

Hello, it is most likey due to the fact that there are really many routes in your game. Try reducing the number of routes.

or maybe fix you game, because i need to have alot of routes to connect the cities and countries together. it should not be a problem to have a lot of routes

The problem is the game itself. I'm at 73% and unless I want to play with -30% income constant I need the routes I have. And it really seems like I'm frying my pc :P i9, 4080i and 64gb ram should be able to run this smooth, so an optimalization is needed from the developers.

I agree this game is a resource hog. Mine lags despite being nowhere near 100% cpu/gpu, that part I really do not understand at all.

We're already testing the performance improvements internally. If all goes well, they will be released to public when we are sure it doesn't break the game or alter its balance in any way.

Lets hope the fix works, 55/200 cities with a I7, 4090 and 32gb ram and it is almost unplayable.

Hopefully dev is still working on it as "reduce routes" is not even close to realistic for a route flight sim...I was actually trying to recreate real routes (I am a travel consultant) to see the accuracy of our current RL system.

Can confirm...doing same number of routes as any other successful play through...and the game is much much slower than ever before.
