What’s holding me back from buying

Hello there
This game looks pretty cool, but there are some things putting me off from buying it.
I hope the developers will listen to my feedback, and use it to make the game appeal to even more people!
Here is the list of things that’s keeping me from buying the game:

1: Lack of shrimps

edit: looks like shrimp... eventually. someday, shrimp will be real

the game definitely needs shrimps but they've said unless the game sells decently well they probably wont have the funds to implement them after their current roadmap is complete.

Seems like adding females for all the species + breeding mechanics and fish fry is going to consume most of the post-release dev funds so if it doensn't sell no shrimp. Case in point: buy it. It's a very cool game with the most interesting fish of any of these types of games I've seen, especially behavior wise.

Shrimp are the top-requested thing that we didn't originally have planned to put in. Really hope we can make enough to get them in!

I just bought the game, after remaining aloof from it for months.

It turned out to be sufficiently interesting that I will keep it: and if doesn't have shrimp, and I decide I need shrimp, I'll go to Red Lobster.

I suppose the game doesn't have lobsters, either. Oh, well. What it does have is the potential for real complexity and for holding my interest.

So far, so good.

I really want more African cichlids to build some more diverse rift valley tanks, especially all the weird Tanganyika species (sadine cichlids, giant featherfin, shellies, tropheous, goby cichlids, julies) not to mention spiny eels. Probably also black water, plecos, asian arowana, and axolotols. shrimp and snails though are probably a big thing to add, but i guess they need an overhaul in the game to get it to work

I am hoping that shrimp come around too! It would be so cool to make a whole shrimp tank on this game with one of the little tanks!
