Gameplay lag issues! PLS help!

I love this game but I'm having this issue where it runs super slow. Like, the audio is ahead of the gameplay and the gameplay is slowwwww.
I had this issue on a really old computer and I thought nothing of it because old computer, right? But this computer is newer (around 4 years old I think I'm not sure it was a gift) and I'm still having the exact same issues. For note, this computer can run detailed games like Detroit Become Human and other detailed games. I don't know if it has something to do with how my options are but I'd really like to play this game pls!

Maybe there are issues with easy anti cheat and this game

If you're using nvidia, try right-clicking on your desktop to access nvidia control panel. In manage 3D settings, go to program settings and add jojo. Make sure you have the high performance nvidia processor chosen as the preferred graphics card. Also change the max frame rate settings to a higher value

Should increase the game speed, as it did for me

I have the same problem but I don't use nvidia, how can I fix it? (I looked for an answer in many sites, nothing works)

I’m no computer expert, but i imagine you access the control panel of whatever brand of processor/graphics card you have and find some setting that lets you force the game to work faster
