Last survivor was/is a thing. in japan exclusively, but it existed. as did eyes of heaven, which did actually get localizedish. they had their ups and downs. main draw from my pov is lack of roster. very few characters could be adapted from source material in a manner that is ballanced to the gameplay whilst also being fun. aka lotta melee/non-euclidian dudes. a story adaptation could be dope, like phantom blood and vento aureo for ps2. only so much ground you can tread tho.

Tldr: We tried it, it was alright, but not what we're looking for.
