How to counter cowards ingame?

Online is dead, yet if you find an enemy you need to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ PRAY that he is not gonna walk backwards for entire fight after dealing any dmg, just to win by time running out and hitting you from behind. Thats why i am here, asking if you know how to counter such cowards, sitting in block and walking away.

Whats so cowardy in playing Polnaref? He can be countered pretty easly by just dodging and attacking first

i mean yeah, he has a good range, but i cant say he have more then that. And, really, whats up with playing him if i am not trying to stay 5 meters away with his range, its better to fight then just hold them this far

I guess you'll just have to try running at them. Also maybe give some examples of who you're fighting.

as i said, they will just be attacking from behind and sitting in block, on char like polnaref you wont be able to break it easly, and they will abuse it as much as possible.

from their behind, opening block for a second just to do the combo and sit in it again
