That aside do the DLC appear if you check content you own for the game on steam or is it absent there too. Would help with narrowing it down to if it’s an error on steams part with the dlc not being in your library or if it’s the game that doesn’t recognise you having the content
I... wasn't referring to the race with the costumes, I was referring to the color of the outfits themselves (which are mostly white barring colored highlights depending on the character). The actual name of the DLC is the "Animation Special Event color set", and to be fair I probably should have looked up the actual name for it instead of referring to it as the "white costumes", I apologise for my poor phrasing of that.

As for your advice, I have checked all my owned content (including DLC for the game), and it *does* show up in my library, however opening up the game the costumes are absent. I've tried validating my files to see if this would fix it but unfortunately nothing, so I don't know what to do to get the costumes back in game.
Anyways I'm having the same issue OP, I'm guessing everyone will have this problem.
Yeah, I've also tried pretty much everything under the book to fix it but nothing so far.
My *best* guess is that something in a recent update must have something to do with this (maybe the DLC itself wasn't updated? IDK how DLC works with this game so I'm just making rough estimates) and is preventing people from accessing the Animation Special Event color set.
If that's the case, then all we can do is wait until the next update comes out and (hopefully) fixes it, cause at the moment nothing else seems to restore the costumes.
