The game is really good but its dying
just because of the price, delay is at least ok, since FighterZ is alive until now. But this price...

its definitely not JUST because of the price. in-fact on the list of reasons why the game is dying i'm not sure that it makes the top 3. some of the main causes for the game's dwindling playerbase:

-netcode: is archaic and feels like sludge unless you kick people who don't have perfect connections with you
-Transmitting error: what is the point of playing ranked if your gonna eventually stack disconnects on your record out of your control? this discourages people playing ranked
- lackluster single player content: devoid of any narrative the offline modes can be completed relatively quickly and the disconnected mission based unlock structure encourages people to play the missions that unlock what they want and to not play the missions that they don't care about which will further quicken the pace that some people feel they have completed what they want to out of that mode.
-easy beat: not overpowered in any way, but this mechanic encourages people to hop online while only knowing how to mash one button. they get absolutely crushed online by people who know what they are doing. as the playerbase dwindles the number of people who remain and know what they are doing starts to slowly make up the majority of the online playerbase. so if you hop on the game to mash a button online and get stomped by 50-80% damage combos you will probably not want to play again.
-Self fulfilling prophecy: as the game loses players people post "dead game" people who don't own the game see that its a "dead game" and don't buy it. this cycle continues as the playerbase dwindles until it really is a dead game.
-no crossplay; the people who have purchased the game are split among multiple devices. if those communities were a single community matchmaking would have a better pool of players to choose from creating a more balanced system assuming everything works as intended and if the online community was combined the self fulfilling prophecy that usually results in all competitive games dying eventually would have been delayed.

and then somewhere even further down the list below character balance, bugs, and the genre itself being niche, the price is also an issue if you have been waiting for a sale or are in an area where regional pricing sucks(if that is even an issue. I can't recall and am not interested enough to check)

Online addicts have started to bash this game about the bad netcode even before this game was released. I'm sure that many "casual" type of potential buyers, the ones who don't even understand if they want online or not for example, have been scared away by those idiots and haven't bought it just because those idiots talked bad about it even before it was out.

If you do not want JoJo games on PC don't buy them, but don't bother the fans who want them. I hope the next "online only" game those people are hyped about will die after a few months after they have bought it and will be broken by some messed up patch that makes it unplayable or changes something in it and make it absolutely terrible and unbearable for the fans who bought it. SO that they get exactly what they deserve.

Don't forget that on PC it just randomly crashes for some reason, not at fault of your computer or anything it just stops.

whats your issue with people wanting to play online? fighting games are designed to be played against others, and online netcode that feels good to play is necessarily essential for that today. online is the new arcade. my man just doesnt want games to be good?

All of you are bashing this game fr only one specific reason and some clearly stated they want it to fail and die, not to improve, to fail and die.
None of you ever showed a positive attitude asking for something in a good way and hoping for improvements, all of you have done was hating and bashing this game more like JoJo franchise personally offend you rather than you wanted good online in a JoJo game.
It felt like the reaction of Sony idiot fanboys when they lost God of war exclusivity.
I would want a better arcade mode in this game, I would want more stages in this game, I would want more single player content in this game but it is still a good game anyway, I have always wanted a JoJo game on PC, and I appreciate it for what it is.
I don't wage war against it and against the developers just because this game has less stages than I hoped for and because they did not improve the arcade mode in any way. am a fan of JoJo and I am still happy to have this game on Steam, there is stil a lot to enjoy in it as a fan of JoJo.
I even have doubts that many of you are actually JoJo fans or interested in JoJo in any way, because most of you just have just blindly hated this game like its existence offends you rather than if youwere interested but it has an issue that makes one specific mode less good than you wanted.
This games was a Sony exclusive and many people hate anime because they believe anime=child pornography cartoons, so I imagine what kind of persons those haters are and what are their "motives" to spread so much hate against this game.
People who were really interested in this game either asked for better online more politely or just skipped it instead of being so negative.
If this game sell well it is more likely that new JoJo games will be made in the future, and some might have the good online you care so much about, if this game don't sell it's more likely to not see a new JoJo game at all.

Err children pronography, come on dude, could you not understand that there is not one type of gamers on this game but a lot of différent gamers? There are simple jojo s fan who just enjoy playing their favorite character, they are FGC player who want to play a good fighting games and also ppl who love both and liking jojo or not, when you play your game you want somethin good be offline or online mode and atm the online is really a bulllcrap so yeah ppl who want to enjoy a goof fighting game online will complain and i totally understand that.

Netcode has to be the no. 1 issue. You can't release a fighting game in the 2020s without decent Rollback netcode. Even for re releases. You may want to make the game offline only, without Rollback.

And the price is the other big problem. For some of us at least. Bamco regional pricing has been crazy for years.
I could only afford this game on release date, thanks to Nuuvem.

No I don't understand. People who just want fighting games already have (I assume) other games with better online to play so it makes no sense to hate this one so much just because of that. Just don't buy it. And a fan of JoJo should not hate it so much for a problem like that. You can say that a feature should be better but if you react in the same way dumb desperate fanboys react when they lose exclusivity on something like God of war then 1) you are not a fan of that franchise and 2) you are not going to obtain what youi say you want, you are just going to hurt the game itself (something that some vpeople have confirmed in fact as I said, they wanted this game to fail) which could mean no more JoJo games in the future.

The problem is simple there are either a lot of people who just hate JoJo for some reason or people do not even understand how to react anymore they have no control at all over themselves because as I said it is just completely unbelievable and unacceptable that fans of a franchise, because of bad / not good enough online mode reacts in the same way crazy, desperate, dumb fanboys reacts when they lose a prestigious exclusive.

If you like JoJo enough buy this game, if you just want good online and don't care about JoJo don't buy it. All this hate so many pewople have spread is just going to hurt the franchise and will not give you this "rollback" that you want so much anyway, it just makes less likely the release of other JoJo games in the future and scare potential casual buyers away.

Unfortunately fighting games "community" is not ruined enough since it still can dictate how this entire genre must be and fighting games are so niche and stagnant.
Without such a narrow minded, overly obsessed with competition community and with much less focus on online maybe amazing games like Soul Calibur 3, Smash Bros Brawl (Smash Ultimate sucks), Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX, Mortal Kombat Deception, Deadly Alliance and Armageddon would still be made...

Niche fighting games community, competitivity and online are ruining fighting games... Dreamcast and XBox (expecially XBox, for obvious reasons) ruined gaming... There is no end to how much I hate bMicrosoft, XBox have been a ugly disgrace and its damn online changed home gaming forever and ruined it, really, I hate Microsoft, XBox made gaming suck I still hate them for the very first ugly XBox and it is not the only bad thing they did (GFWL...)
